About the Role

SAP FI/Finance Senior Consultant to join EY GDS Consulting Services in Malaga, focusing on SAP FI/Finance solutions (S/4HANA) for the EMEA market. You’ll deliver business advisory services in transformation and enterprise management systems, working across Cloud, Hybrid and on-premise environments, with agile approaches and a focus on quality of implementation.

What You'll Do

• Support clients in selecting the most suitable business solutions.
• Participate in advisory and SAP Finance implementation projects.
• Assist clients in IT transformation processes and the adoption of SAP solutions (S/4HANA, Central Finance, VIM, FPSL, Group Reporting, Accrual Engine, RE-FX).
• Take part in post-implementation reviews of selected processes.
• Coordinate key project tasks and activities.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in SAP FI/Finance implementation.
• Experience in Fit-Gap workshops, configuration, testing, documentation, training, data migration, Cutover preparation and execution.
• End-to-end business processes understanding.
• Knowledge in implementation of system enhancements and preparation of Functional Specifications.
• Strong knowledge of FINANCE configuration areas: Enterprise structure design, Finance Master Data, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, Fixed Assets, Real Estate, Statutory Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Profitability Analysis, Management, Reporting.
• Strong cross-functional understanding with PP, MM, SD.
• Good accounting knowledge.
• Higher Education Degree.
• Excellent English (verbal and written) and French (C1 or above).
• Ideally, experience with SAP software solutions and strong functional process knowledge; ability to contextualize technology and deliver business value.
• System integration skills; experience developing requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, and implementing practical solutions under inter-dependent project deadlines.
• Experience with SAP Project Systems and SAP Group Reporting.
• SAP Analytics, Performance Management and Reporting.
• SAP Financial planning solutions – BPC and/or SAC for Planning.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP Treasury core components (Cash management, Transaction manager, In-house cash, Risk analyzers, Liquidity planner, Hedge management and accounting, SWIFT integration, BCM, integration with financial accounting and other applications).
• Experience supporting pre-sales engagements and responding to RFPs.

Nice to Have

• Ideally, SAP software solutions with strong functional process knowledge and the ability to contextualize technology.
• Additional experience in treasury components and end-to-end SAP finance processes.
