About the Role Kearney & Company is seeking a highly skilled SAP ERP Consultant to join our team supporting one of the Federal government’s largest agencies. The role focuses on investigating errors, analyzing transactions, and documenting procedures to improve SAP ERP transaction processing and error resolution. You will work with cross-functional teams and develop training and knowledge-sharing resources.

What You'll Do

  • Investigate and analyze transactional errors within the SAP ERP system, pinpoint root causes, and identify corrective actions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (finance, procurement, IT) to understand transaction workflows and error origins.
  • Draft/update communication artifacts (SOPs, Desktop Guides, white papers) and document error resolution steps.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other resources; provide training and support to end-users.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service in high-pressure situations; direct and review the work of Senior Associates.
  • Communicate status of project tasks to Team Lead and client.

What We're Looking For

  • BA/BS/BBA degree; 5+ years progressive, relevant experience; ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret (or higher) clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
  • Highly proficient MS Excel
  • Experience with SAP ERP and Navy ERP; experience with federal financial reporting
  • SQL, Python, Databricks, Foundry experience preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience analyzing Department of Navy general ledger postings
  • Experience researching and resolving unmatched Navy ERP transactions
  • Experience with FBWT reconciliations and Financial Reporting
  • Experience with DoD’s Advanced Analytics (Advana) platform; DoW disbursing operations
  • Ability to independently research data reconciling variances
  • Knowledge of FASAB, OMB, and Treasury requirements including OMB Circular A-136 and/or the Treasury Financial Manual
  • CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA certification; CGFM, CDFM, CISA, or other professional certification

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $80,000 - $140,000 annually
