Job title: SAP Business Development Director
About the Role The SAP Business Development Director will drive SAP opportunities from qualification through closure, focusing on selling SAP services in HiTech sectors. The role combines solutioning, client engagements, and executive-facing storytelling to shape deals and grow SAP business for Wipro.
What You'll Do
- Drive SAP opportunities from qualification to closure, including solution design, pricing, and negotiation.
- Build and present end-to-end SAP solutions for clients; lead SAP discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, and executive presentations.
- Hunt new SAP opportunities and farm existing accounts, engaging with senior leaders (CxO level) on business problems.
- Partner with pre-sales, delivery, vertical, financial and legal teams to shape, price, and deliver SAP services (Transformation, AMS, Cloud Migration, LOB solutions).
- Maintain deep knowledge of SAP product ecosystem and roadmaps (Rise, S/4HANA, AMS, AD, BTP; LOB solutions such as HANA, Ariba, IBP, SF).
- Communicate effectively with offshore presales and solution teams; leverage PowerPoint and Excel to storyboard and present value.
- Meet revenue targets (15-20M min) as part of a quota-carrying role.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years SAP experience, including at least 3 years as an SAP Sales or Presales Practitioner.
- 7-10 years SAP solutioning and services selling with a track record in OB/TCV quota-bearing roles at large system integrators.
- Deep experience in SAP’s product ecosystem and in-demand solutions (S/4HANA, Rise, Cloud migration, AMS, Testing; LOB solutions such as HANA, Ariba, IBP, SF).
- Ability to engage with senior leaders (CxO level) and translate requirements into compelling SAP value messages.
- Hands-on experience in solutioning and presenting SAP services – Transformation, AMS, Cloud Migration.
- Understanding of SAP business in at least one Hi-Tech industry and cloud migration nuances; strong communicator with offshore teams.
- Proven collaboration across pre-sales, delivery, vertical, financial and legal teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- The expected compensation for this role ranges from $200,000.00 to $280,000.00. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
