Job Description: SAP AI Core / AI Agent Developer

Experience: 4 to 7 years (flexible based on skills)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI-powered applications and agents using SAP AI Core and SAP BTP.
• Design and build AI agents using LLMs, tool calling, APIs, and enterprise system integrations.
• Develop Generative AI solutions for business process automation and intelligent workflows.
• Integrate AI agents with SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs and services.
• Build and maintain supporting applications using SAP ABAP or SAP UI5/Fiori, where required.
• Test, debug, monitor, and optimize AI solutions for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Implement AI-driven solutions aligned with enterprise business processes and requirements.

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience in AI/LLM application development and AI agent-based architectures.
• Knowledge of SAP AI Core and SAP BTP AI capabilities.
• Experience with SAP Joule and SAP Joule Studio.
• Experience with Python or JavaScript programming.
• Strong understanding of LLM integration, prompt engineering, and tool/function calling.
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise application integration.
• Understanding of AI application development, debugging, testing, and deployment practices.
• Ability to build and integrate AI-powered solutions with SAP and non-SAP enterprise applications.
• Strong interest and hands-on capability in developing AI agents and enterprise Generative AI solutions.
• Ability to integrate AI capabilities with SAP business processes and enterprise applications.

Good-to-Have

• Familiarity with SAP Generative AI Hub and SAP AI Core deployment workflows.
• Experience with SAP ABAP, CDS Views, OData services, or SAP UI5/Fiori.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Understanding of enterprise AI security and governance.
• Experience in integrating Generative AI solutions with SAP business processes.

Note: SAP AI Core and AI Agent Development are the primary requirements. SAP ABAP and SAP UI5/Fiori experience will be considered an added advantage.
