About the Role The Sanitation Technician at The Hershey Company's Dot’s Pretzels facility in Edgerton, KS ensures the building and equipment are kept clean and maintained per the Master Sanitation Schedule. You will perform sanitation tasks and support daily quality and safety programs in alignment with our Safety Program and Food Safety Management Program. What You'll Do
- Follow all FDA health and OSHA safety regulations.
- Maintain good attendance and reliability.
- Understand and apply safety measures necessary for all equipment operation.
- Complete sanitation tasks as scheduled on the Master Sanitation Schedule and handle additional sanitation projects as directed.
- Ensure cleaning tools and chemicals are organized and adequately stocked for the facility’s needs. What We're Looking For
- Interest or experience in sanitation within a manufacturing/food production environment.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (Shifts: 5a–5p) on a rotating weekly schedule.
- Commitment to FDA/OSHA safety regulations and food safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safety and cleanliness.
- Good attendance and reliability. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: Starting pay is $20.25/hr; Up to $1.00 pay increase after 6 months of good standing employment.
