About the Role

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a company that values safety, teamwork, and growth? Kerry is currently seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our 2nd shift team (200 PM - 1000 PM) at our Vesper, WI facility! Our Vesper location is part of Kerry's Applied Health & Nutrition division and is a unique manufacturing site that produces proteins, lactose, coatings, and flavors used in products enjoyed by consumers around the world. As a Sanitation Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe production environment, helping ensure the quality and integrity of the products we manufacture every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Employee will be responsible for daily/ weekly sanitation tasks while also contributing to the general overall condition of the plant.

• Ability to operate the floor scrubber and maintain its cleanliness (daily maintenance checklist)

• Ability to operate the powered man-lift. (Rafter cleaning)

• Completion of daily /weekly cleaning list.

• Upkeep of Master Sanitation list (MSS)(MVP)

• Demonstrates a positive attitude and relates in a positive manner when interacting with all personnel.

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Understand and comply with all HACCP, allergen, environmental, regulatory and customer demands and requirements.

• Have a good understanding of the general purpose, philosophy, and direction of Kerry as a whole and, specifically, the Jackson plant as it relates to employee policies and expectations, quality, customer satisfaction, GMPs, sanitation, and production requirements.

• Maintain awareness of customer and regulatory demands and focus.

• Responsible to adhere to quality system requirements.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.

• Problem solving ability and aptitude for learning and professional growth.

• High School Diploma

• Must be able to lift 50 – 100 lbs.

• Must be able to work all three shifts

• Have some knowledge of the use of tools and be mechanically inclined

• Must complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules

• Complete and maintain the MSS (Master Sanitation Schedule).

• Understand the use of chemicals.

• Must be able to operate a floor scrubber.

• Must be able to operate a scissors lift and a boom lift

• Must regard communications, teamwork, quality and safety as a high priority

• Must be able to understand / follow written and verbal communication and

• Perform any reasonable request from supervisors.
