Principal Accountabilities

  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow government regulations and other required guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions, ensure product quality is maintained and that all lockout and tagout procedures are followed.
  • Perform cleaning procedures, tear down and set up, clean in-place processes, preventative maintenance, making mechanical adjustments / troubleshooting equipment
  • Ensure and support completion of scheduled inspections of equipment including steam and tempered water hoses.
  • Responsible for safely containing and proactively addressing potential problems with the storage and usage of cleaning chemicals including use of protective gear as required and operating specialized sanitation equipment.
  • Scrape, shove, broom, soap, spray down areas and disassemble and reassembling equipment, power washing, sanitizing, scrubbing, lifting, carrying and pushing containers.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must have basic math skills (Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Must be willing to work in hot, cold, and wet environments
  • Must be willing to work with food safe chemicals.
  • Must be able to work with heights and wear safety harness
  • Ability to lift frequently
  • Ability to use or learn to use a tablet to complete documents
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Confined Space training; scissor lift, and floor scrubber training
  • Availability to work outside of normal shift up to including weekend and off shift hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous food service, and/or production experience
  • Consistent work history in the last 12 months
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Sanitation experience
