About the Role Join The Hershey Company at the Dot’s Pretzels Plymouth, IN plant as a Sanitation Associate. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing either the common areas of the plant or the processing room to meet quality and safety standards. This role supports ongoing sanitation programs and works under the direction of the Sanitation Manager. What You'll Do
- Clean and sanitize plant areas (common areas or processing room) by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and emptying trash as needed.
- Inventory and stocking of supply rooms as needed.
- Fill proportions with cleaning chemicals as needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as hand jacks, manlift, boom, floor scrubber, KaiVac, and other required tools.
- Perform periodic deep cleaning as outlined by 3rd party audit requirements and instructions from the Sanitation Manager.
- Understand and apply 5S programs.
- Document all cleaning activities. What We're Looking For
- Ability to clean and sanitize plant areas to meet quality standards.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (hand jacks, manlift, boom, floor scrubber, KaiVac).
- Experience with inventory management and stocking of supply rooms is a plus.
- Familiarity with 5S and sanitation best practices.
- Willingness to follow audit requirements and instructions from the Sanitation Manager.
- Able to undergo post-offer background check and drug screen.
- Open to night shifts; 12-hour shifts (6pm-6am) with a 2-2-3 schedule, working 3-4 days/week.
- Location: Plymouth, IN; onsite role. Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $21.16 per hour; biweekly pay.
