About the Role Springhill Suites Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront is seeking a SandBar Server to deliver food and beverage service to guests in the on-site restaurant and bar. This onsite role requires a flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays) in line with hotel operations and adherence to Shaner and brand specifications. What You'll Do
- Take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages, and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently.
- Collect payments.
- Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment.
- Ensure daily operational procedures are followed by the Food and Beverage Department.
- Communicate with General Manager, other Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
- Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Minimum one year of public-facing service experience.
- Must be 21+ to serve alcohol.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- ServSafe and/or food safety training; alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele. Nice to Have
