About the Role ALS Geochemistry in Malaga is seeking Sample Weighers to join our Spectroscopy team. This casual position supports the lab by preparing samples for analysis and helping keep production flowing with fast turnaround times. The role begins with day-shift training, then transitions to a weekly rotating roster that includes day and afternoon shifts and occasional weekend work.
What You'll Do
- Work safely in a laboratory environment.
- Weigh samples for Carbon/Sulphur analysis.
- Develop an understanding of laboratory practices and scientific processes.
- Provide samples for operational staff to analyze and support production throughput.
- Collaborate effectively within a high-performance team.
- Follow established procedures and maintain quality and safety standards.
- Be reliable, physically fit, and prepared to perform repetitive manual handling tasks.
