About the Role We are seeking multiple Sample Preparers to join our Geochemistry site in Kalgoorlie. By registering your interest, you will be considered for upcoming opportunities. You will support mining and exploration clients in a fast-paced warehouse environment, operating machinery to crush, split, and pulverize mineral samples for laboratory analysis. This is a physically demanding role in a dusty environment; a half-face respirator is required and you must be clean-shaven to ensure a proper seal.
What You'll Do
- Handling rock, core and drill chips
- Operating sample preparation equipment – crushers, pulverisers, splitters, and weigh scales
- Performing routine manual tasks including lifting and being on your feet all day
- Numerical sorting and labelling of samples
- Wearing mandatory PPE including a respirator
