Job title: Sample Preparer - Canning Vale
About the Role We are currently seeking multiple individuals to join our Geochemistry site in Canning Vale as Sample Preparers to support mining and exploration clients across Western Australia. This role involves operating machinery in a dusty warehouse to crush, split, and pulverize mineral samples for laboratory analysis, and is physically demanding; prior production experience and flexibility with availability would be advantageous.
What You'll Do
- Handling rock, core and drill chips
- Operating sample preparation equipment – crushers, pulverizers, splitters, and weigh scales
- Performing routine manual/labouring tasks, including lifting and being on your feet all-day
- Numerical sorting and labelling of samples
- Wearing mandatory PPE including a respirator
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets

- Ability to follow set procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willing to work as part of a high-performance team with a focus on quality & safety
- Reliable, physically fit, and prepared to carry out repetitive manual handling tasks
- Previous production experience and flexibility with availability would be advantageous
- Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper seal of a half-face respirator; the environment is dusty and requires PPE
