About the Role Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is seeking a Salon Manager in Kingwood, TX to hire, coach, and lead the salon team while delivering an upbeat, kid-friendly haircut experience. This role combines people leadership with hands-on operations, POS management, and a focus on safety and guest satisfaction to support franchise goals.
What You'll Do
- Hire, lead, coach and train the team to meet salon goals.
- Operate Point-of-Sale software and manage daily transactions.
- Organize and schedule employees' shifts; ensure weekend coverage.
- Maintain health and safety standards per state rules.
- Report to ownership and collaborate with franchise leadership.
- Engage with clients (kids and parents) to deliver an energetic, fun experience.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum two years’ experience in a management or supervisory role in a salon or related environment.
- Ability to work weekends; flexible availability.
- Ability to work with kids and provide exceptional customer service.
- Upbeat attitude, friendly demeanor, and strong communication skills.
- Experience with Point-of-Sale software.
- Knowledge of safety and health regulations for customers.
Nice to Have
- Experience in kids’ salon or franchise environment.
- Leadership experience with a proven track record of team performance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour (USD) plus tips where applicable.
