About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Product Owner to lead and drive our Sales Cloud initiatives. You will shape the technical direction of the Salesforce platform, ensure architectural alignment with business objectives, and deliver high-performing systems. This role emphasizes technical leadership, managing complex designs, and governance to maintain a scalable and stable Salesforce environment. What You'll Do

  • Develop a clear technical product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Salesforce, aligning with business goals.
  • Lead Sales Cloud projects by coordinating cross-functional IT teams and business partners.
  • Collaborate with engineering to design and deploy custom solutions integrated with existing systems.
  • Enforce architectural design reviews and governance frameworks to prevent disruptions and identify shared objects/permissions.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for code cleanup and technical debt reduction.
  • Serve as Salesforce Sales Cloud subject matter expert for ongoing improvements.
  • Champion end-user needs by providing training and guidance to maximize adoption and adherence to best practices.
  • Use data-driven insights to measure product performance and prioritize features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and meet customer and business goals.
  • Surface emerging trends and technologies to deliver value.
  • Work with engineering pods to ensure technical requirements and Salesforce knowledge are vetted throughout the sprint lifecycle. What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5-6 years as a Salesforce Technical Product Owner or Salesforce Consultant specializing in Sales Cloud.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams through complex Salesforce projects and architectural reviews.
  • Experience delivering complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience in an agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and backlog management. Nice to Have
  • Salesforce certifications are highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product features.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguous situations and blockers with minimal guidance. Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $125,000 - $145,000 USD per year.
  • Note: Candidate must be in the Chicago and/or Schaumburg office 1-2 days per week.
