The role of Salesforce Administrator within our Salesforce Center of Excellence requires a dedicated individual. This person will support the deployment of the Sales Cloud platform used daily by our commercial team.
You'll handle the success of your configuration stories completely. Follow guidelines to develop solutions that evolve with the business rather than simply checking a box.
What you'll do
- Build flows and other automation using guidelines, keeping solutions clean, well-documented, and easy for the next admin to pick up
- Partner with product managers, developers, and QA teams to make sure what we build actually solves the underlying problem
- Configure and maintain core Sales Cloud capabilities: opportunity and pipeline management, lead routing and assignment, forecasting, territory management, and quote-to-cash processes
- Manage the Salesforce-side configuration for integrations with third-party sales tools; our operational teams handle the majority of work on the third-party side
- Use AI tools like Claude and Copilot as part of your everyday workflow, from configuration and documentation to fix
- Participate in and lead daily configuration review calls, reviewing peer solutions and sharing feedback
- Research and resolve raised Tier 2 support cases, spotting opportunities for automation, access improvements, or security fixes along the way
- Document processes and how-to guides for a global user base. Identify, document, and solve bugs, and develop fixes
- Collaborate on a SCRUM team using Jira, with colleagues across the globe. Support deployment activities using Gearset
- Cover occasional hypercare shifts after major deployments, which may fall outside standard hours or on weekends (expect this once or twice a year)
What We're Looking For:
- Availability of working onsite, 3 days per week. Montes Urales
- Two-plus years as a Salesforce Administrator, ideally supporting a Sales Cloud implementation
- Salesforce Administrator certification, with Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce CPQ Specialist a plus
- Experience translating user stories into solutions that hold up over time, for both the platform and the people using it
- Ability to act as a liaison between developers and QA when a story needs more context
- Experience working in an Agile or SCRUM environment, with Jira
- Strong grasp of process automation, especially building flows with best practices like bulkification and clear error handling, and knowing when to reach for validation rules, visibility filters, or a developer instead
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a track record of managing multiple priorities at once
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent experience
- Nice to have: Experience with Gearset for DevOps, Understanding of Git/GitHub & branch management, hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud, including managing data and configuration through Gearset.
