Job title: Salesforce Developer and Functional Architect

About the Role The Role: As a hands-on Salesforce Developer and Functional Architect, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and delivering end-to-end Salesforce solutions, combining strategic functional leadership with hands-on configuration and build responsibilities. This role bridges business and technology while actively contributing to solution implementation on the platform. You will own the solution from concept through deployment, focusing on data models, automation and security.

What You'll Do

• Solution Design & Architecture: Define end-to-end Salesforce functional solutions aligned with business objectives; design scalable data models, business processes, and user journeys; ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices and enterprise architecture.
• Hands-On Configuration & Build: Configure Salesforce platform components including objects, fields, and relationships; build automation using Flows, validation rules, and approval processes; implement security models; develop reports and dashboards; ensure maintainability and practical deployment.
• Administrative & Operational Support: Support day-to-day Salesforce administration alongside project delivery; manage data requests (uploads, cleansing, maintenance); assist with user management and basic system administration; respond to ad hoc business requests.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Management: Conduct workshops, gather requirements, convert them into user stories with acceptance criteria; act as a trusted advisor on Salesforce capabilities and constraints.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and implementation partners; provide functional direction; review vendor deliverables and track performance against scope and SLAs.
• Governance & Best Practices: Establish design/configuration standards; ensure scalable, secure solutions aligned with long-term strategy; maintain documentation and mitigate risks and technical debt.
• Delivery, Testing & Support: Lead or co-ordinate the full delivery lifecycle (design, SIT, UAT, deployment); ensure quality before release; provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Essential: Experience in the Salesforce ecosystem across functional, development, administrative, and solution delivery roles; ability to design and configure solutions including objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and security models; solid understanding of data modelling, security, and reporting; experience translating requirements into functional designs and user stories; strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation; hands-on Salesforce administration including data management, reporting, user access and system administration; experience delivering end-to-end lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy, support); ability to enforce Salesforce best practices and governance; experience in Agile environments; strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to balance architecture with hands-on delivery.
• Desirable: Experience managing vendors, system integrators, or implementation partners; familiarity with Apex, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components; previous experience in Functional Developer, Lead, or Architect roles.
