Job title: Sales Representative (TZ)
About the Role The Sales Representative professionally promotes and sells Nutreco values proposition and services to existing and potential customers and establishes and maintains good relations at all levels. The role reports to the Sales Manager in an OpCo and is responsible for commercial activities for direct customers to achieve Nutreco’s objectives. The Sales Representative works in tandem with the Technical Sales Advisor to open doors and close deals, providing the commercial expertise while leveraging basic technical knowledge.
What You'll Do
- Develops, co-develops and executes the sales plan for the assigned area in line with objectives and targets, ensuring realization of the plan and achievement of sales targets.
- Proactively acquires and manages customers, expands the customer base, and retains existing customers through direct visits, phone outreach and referrals.
- Build and maintain trust with customers by identifying needs, offering effective solutions and driving higher satisfaction and loyalty, while increasing revenue/profitability.
- Demonstrate value by linking Nutreco products and services to explicit customer needs and coordinate with the Technical Sales Advisor on complex opportunities.
- Handle issue resolution, follow up on complaints/queries, and coordinate with Sales and Customer Services to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain and improve administrative sales processes and systems, record sale outcomes, and plan follow-up actions to move deals forward.
- Provide management information on demand and support decision-making with quantitative/qualitative insights from the sales area.
- Invest in internal knowledge through local and global trainings, and participate in projects related to sales or customer service as needed.

- Proven ability to plan and execute sales strategies within a defined territory or account portfolio.
- Strong customer orientation, results-driven mindset and ability to acquire and grow accounts.
- Comfortable collaborating with a Technical Sales Advisor for highly technical sales processes.
- Basic technical knowledge and willingness to develop product/technical expertise.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel for customer visits and work autonomously as an individual contributor.
