About the Role TriCore is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to drive territory growth in designated geographic and medical specialty areas. The role acts as a sales consultant for TriCore laboratory testing and related services, building strategic relationships, capturing new accounts, and upselling to meet sales objectives. The position requires travel and collaboration across departments to ensure client onboarding and service excellence. What You'll Do
- Deliver consultative laboratory selling to new and existing customers within assigned territory.
- Develop and grow relationships within accounts; perform Strategic Business Calls and consultative dialogues aligned with client strategy.
- Grow healthcare accounts to meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Organize timely responses to RFPs; prepare and submit proposals; review pricing; manage Laboratory Service Agreement contracts.
- Collaborate with laboratory supervisors and departments to solve problems, set up new clients and handle special requests.
- Leverage Subject Matter Experts and Medical Directors to increase knowledge for client consultation and sales objectives.
- Provide training to clients for onboarding, retention, problem resolution, and service needs.
- Assist Communications in developing marketing tools when assigned.
- Plan, organize and execute territory sales approach; develop strategies and tactics (including Phase 3).
- Maintain effective call cycle and client records in Salesforce; create pipeline reports.
- Maintain high standards of knowledge of new and existing tests and medical specialties; stay current on government and private insurance guidelines including Prior Authorization and Medical Necessity.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports including expenses as required.
- Train new and existing customers on TriCore IT products and testing services.
- Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) years of sales experience or three (3) years of relevant healthcare or medical laboratory sales/service experience.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Willingness to travel for territory development and meetings.
- CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory tests and healthcare industry; familiarity with Prior Authorization and Medical Necessity is a plus. Nice to Have
