About the Role CareerPlug is a remote-first software company delivering recruiting and HR software to 60,000+ growing companies. We’re seeking an experienced sales professional to join our tight-knit team and drive partner-based sales. You’ll identify needs, present solutions, demonstrate features, and help prospective clients upgrade to paid subscriptions. What You'll Do
- Answer inbound calls or inbound email requests from prospective clients
- Prospect new leads (franchisees, association members, State Farm agents, independent employers) to demonstrate product
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations for prospects
- Maintain a minimum number of upgrades and activations per month
- Drive adoption of paid subscriptions with current partners
- Consistently update client information in HubSpot
- Collaborate with Partnership Teams and Sales Operations to support Premium subscription adoption
- Close deals through one-call closes and achieve revenue goals
- Build rapport and provide excellent software demos; own accountability What We're Looking For
- Comfortable in a client-facing role with experience working directly with clients
- Prospecting experience, cold/warm calling
- Preferred: Franchise industry, associations, and/or co-operatives
- Preferred: Knowledge of recruiting
- Preferred: Software sales experience
- Preferred: Experience working with partners that are not direct clients
- Strong communication, ability to demo software, and personal accountability Nice to Have
- Remote-first work experience; comfort working remotely with a distributed team
- Familiarity with partner-based sales models Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $50,000 with an additional $65,546.55 in potential monthly commission; total on-target compensation: $115,546.55
