This is a hands-on field leadership role requiring deep FMCG food sales experience, strong channel management skills, and active territory oversight.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Target Achievement & Territory Growth

  • Develop and execute tactical territory plans to consistently achieve regional primary sales targets and drive brand growth.

  • Direct and track daily field activities for sales representatives ("Food Soldiers") to hit individual and team secondary sales targets.

  • Monitor sales performance metrics daily, weekly, and monthly; identify sales gaps and execute rapid corrective measures.

  • Analyze territory sales data, track product movement, and submit structured performance reports to executive leadership.

2. Team Leadership & Field Supervision

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives across assigned key territories (Mushin, Iyana Ipaja, Abule Egba, Agege, Ikotun, and Sango-Ota).

  • Structure daily field itineraries, assign trade routes, and monitor team field productivity.

4. Market Expansion & Intelligence

  • Drive deep brand penetration in underserved channels and high-density open markets across assigned sales clusters.

  • Gather ongoing trade intelligence on competitor pricing, trade promotions, stock movement, and retailer feedback.

  • Recommend local trade marketing and point-of-sale promotional initiatives to boost product visibility and off-take volume.
