About the role

Role Title: Sales Manager — Retail Business in Used car channel business Location: Bangalore and Delhi Employment Type: Full-Time, Field Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Onboard and activate used car dealerships as ReadyAssist retail products distribution partners

• Conduct in-person pitches and product demonstrations at dealerships

• Train dealer staff on the ReadyAssist Retail product, portal, and sales process

• Drive daily policy issuances and maintain weekly sales targets

• Build and maintain strong dealer relationships within the assigned territory

• Gather ground-level market feedback and report to central team weekly

• Ensure compliance with KYC and documentation requirements at dealerships

• MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• 4–6 years of experience in the used car ecosystem — ideally with companies such as Cars24, Spinny, Droom, OLX Autos, Mahindra First Choice, or similar

• Deep understanding of the used car buying/selling process, dealer economics, and RC transfer workflow

• Strong existing network of used car dealers

• Comfortable being on the field 5–6 days a week — this is not a desk role

• Proven track record in B2B or channel sales — prior experience selling insurance, warranty, or financial products to dealers is a strong plus

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Own vehicle and valid driving licence (mandatory)

• Smartphone proficient — comfortable using CRM apps, WhatsApp Business, and dealer portals

• GOOD TO HAVE

• Prior experience with insurtech, vehicle warranty, or RSA (Roadside Assistance) products

• Understanding of RTO processes and RC transfer timelines across states

• Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
