-
Lead and execute the commercial strategy for Syensqo’s Specialty Polymers Transportation business in Mexico;
-
Own the Mexico sales plan and be accountable for achieving annual revenue, profitability, growth, and new-business objectives;
-
Manage, coach, and develop the local sales team, establishing customer priorities, objectives, and performance expectations;
-
Conduct regular account, opportunity, pipeline, and forecast reviews with the sales team and provide direction on customer strategies and commercial priorities;
-
Identify and develop new business opportunities with automotive OEMs, Tier suppliers, and other transportation customers;

Develop a strong pipeline of new opportunities, with particular focus on Asian and European companies investing, nearshoring, or expanding manufacturing operations in Mexico;
-
Manage strategic customer relationships and establish connections with key commercial, engineering, purchasing, and management decision-makers;

Define pricing strategies and develop pricing recommendations in coordination with regional and global pricing leadership;
-
Manage the sales forecasting process, including customer consumption, open orders, project timing, changes in market share, risks and opportunities, and forecast accuracy;
-
Monitor business performance against annual targets and implement corrective actions when necessary;
-
Work closely with Supply Chain and Planning to evaluate customer demand, product availability, potential capacity constraints, safety-stock requirements, and supply priorities;
-
Coordinate with Technical Service and Product Management to support customer trials, samples, material qualifications, new applications, and new product introductions;
-
Collaborate across Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain, Planning, Technical Service, Manufacturing, and global commercial teams to resolve customer requirements and ensure effective execution;
-
Promote Syensqo’s Specialty Polymers portfolio and strengthen the company’s visibility and position within the Mexican automotive and transportation market;
-
Represent the Mexico organization in regional and global business reviews and communicate market trends, customer developments, competitive activity, risks, and growth opportunities to Americas leadership;
-
Manage local commercial resources and budgets, including travel, marketing, and customer-development activities.
