About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Sales Head to drive business development, build strong relationships with architects and contractors, and develop the company's sales pipeline.

The current sales team has 2 people. This role combines direct sales ownership with team leadership: you will independently pursue business opportunities while building and managing the team as it grows.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and develop new business opportunities in the building-materials market.

• Meet architects, contractors and other prospective buyers to understand their requirements and build business relationships.

• Develop and manage a sales pipeline, from initial conversations and follow-ups through to closure.

• Present the company's aluminium window systems and explain their relevance to customer requirements.

• Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospects and existing relationships to generate business.

• Take ownership of individual sales performance while guiding the existing team towards its goals.

• Build, manage and mentor the sales team as it grows.

• Stay actively involved in day-to-day sales rather than operating only in a supervisory capacity.

• What we're looking for

• Experience in building-materials sales, with the ability to develop relevant customer relationships.

• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

• Confidence in meeting architects and contractors and handling business-development conversations independently.

• Ability to identify opportunities, develop a pipeline and convert prospects into business.

• A hands-on approach, with the ability to balance direct selling and team management.
