Our client is an automotive service company providing professional vehicle maintenance and repair services, vehicle diagnostics, automotive spare parts, car wash, and vehicle-care solutions to vehicle owners and businesses.

We are looking to hire a Sales Executive to drive business growth by acquiring new customers, developing corporate and fleet accounts, promoting the company’s range of automotive and vehicle-care services, and maintaining strong customer relationships to meet sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the surrounding and other locations.

  • Actively prospect for new customers through field visits, referrals, networking, cold calling, digital channels, and other lead-generation activities.

  • Identify potential corporate clients, fleet operators, transport companies, organisations, dealerships, and individual vehicle owners who may require automotive and vehicle-care services.

  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline from prospecting through to conversion.

  • Convert qualified leads into paying customers and continuously seek opportunities to increase revenue from existing customers.

  • Explore new markets and customersegments that can contribute to business growth.

  • Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Understand customers’ vehicle-service needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Maintain regular communication and follow-up with prospects and existing customers.

  • Develop strategies for customer retention, repeat business, referrals, and long-term customer relationships.

  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant automotive, maintenance, spare-parts, car wash, and vehicle-care services.

  • Act as a key point of contact for customers throughout the sales process.

  • Ensure customers receive a professional and positive experience from initial engagement through service delivery.

  • Field Sales & Market Development

  • Conduct regular field visits to prospective and existing customers.

  • Visit businesses, organisations, fleet operators, dealerships, and other potential customer locations to generate business.

  • Represent the company professionally during customer visits, meetings, networking events, and other business-development activities.

  • Research the local market to identify potential customers, emerging opportunities, and changes in customer demand.

  • Monitor competitor activities, market pricing, service offerings, and customer preferences.

  • Provide management with useful market intelligence and recommendations for improving sales performance.

  • Corporate & Fleet Sales

  • Identify and develop relationships with organisations with company-owned or operational vehicle fleets.

  • Prospect for fleet management, vehicle maintenance, servicing, repair, diagnostics, spare-parts, and car-care contracts.

  • Prepare and present business proposals to corporate and fleet clients.

  • Develop recurring-business opportunities and service agreements with corporate customers.

  • Maintain regular engagement with fleet managers, procurement officers, administrative managers, business owners, and other relevant decision-makers.

  • Monitor corporate accounts and identify opportunities to increase account value

  • Sales Reporting & Performance

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, customer interactions, quotations, and sales.

  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, conversions, and market opportunities.

  • Work closely with the operations and management teams to ensure excellent customer service and successful delivery of sold services.

  • QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related commercial discipline.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or a related commercial role.

  • Prior experience within the automotive, spare parts, lubricant distribution, fleet management, or technical services sector is highly preferred.

  • Solid experience in executing both digital and field marketing initiatives, customer acquisition drives, and B2B relationship management.

  • Demonstrated technical familiarity with automotive parts, lubricants, maintenance supplies, and diagnostic services.

  • Strong understanding of customer acquisition, prospecting, relationship management, negotiation, and sales conversion.

  • Must be based in Lagos and fully willing to travel to other state/regional locations as duty permits.

  • Salary Range: ₦150,000 – ₦180,000 monthly (commensurate with experience)
