About the Role Join Samsara as a Sales Engineer for the Mid Market in the TOLA region. This remote role supports modernizing essential industries through IoT solutions, driving digital transformation and helping customers deploy and adopt Samsara products. What You'll Do
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team)
- Become an expert on Samsara products and how cutting-edge IoT tech meets digital transformation for physical operations
- Articulate to prospects how Samsara solves challenges in logistics, safety, fleet maintenance, asset management, and regulatory compliance
- Deliver work products that close deals: discoveries, demonstrations, value assessments, proof of concepts
- Guide installers through scenarios, explain best practices for installation, and help build deployment plans
- Write scripts against our open API to solve real-world problems and document them for the team
- Open the door for deeper account entrenchment via integrations, upsell, and cross-sell as a consultant to customers
- Act as a liaison between product and sales, translating feedback and enrolling customers in beta programs What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's of Science degree from a 4 year accredited university
- 2+ years experience working with customers in a pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support capacity
- Ability to influence stakeholders based on technical sales acumen and understanding of business processes and change management
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Previous experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
- Experience with technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation and control systems
- Must be located within and authorized to work in the United States
