About the Role Silvus is seeking a Sales Engineer to work with the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs. This 100% remote role requires base in Ottawa, Canada and up to 50% travel, collaborating to support Silvus' multi-antenna MIMO radio and mesh networking solutions. What You'll Do

Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning, customer training, and system optimization.

Become an expert on Silvus' unique radio and networking solutions and its advantages over competing technologies.

Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.

Visit customer sites to provide technical support and deliver training.

Troubleshoot failures and abnormal situations in the field; collect and analyze field failures and provide feedback to the development team.

Help Design Engineers reproduce and troubleshoot problems.

Participate in resource allocation and hardware maintenance to support different sales and business development activities.

Help drive future product development.

Travel requirements – up to 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations.

Perform other related duties as assigned. What We're Looking For

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of pre- and post-sales technical support experience; or High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of pre- and post-sales technical support experience.

Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.

Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.

Must be based in Ottawa, Canada. Background check required.

Familiarity with Linux.

Proficiency with TCP/IP, networking.

Experience with operating and testing IP radios/modems.

Knowledge of wireless systems, RF signal propagation, and digital communication technologies.

Proficiency with programming languages such as C/C++.

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.

Base salary $80,000 - $120,000 per year, plus commissions. OTE up to $170,000.
