MerchMix is the inventory operating system of the future, with intelligence at its core. We help businesses plan, buy, move, manage, and execute inventory with greater precision across one connected platform.
We are looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative to help expand our presence across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research prospective customers across retail, wholesale, and inventory-led industries.
- Generate leads through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and outbound prospecting.
- Engage decision-makers across merchandising, planning, inventory, supply chain, and operations.
- Introduce MerchMix and communicate its value proposition.
- Book qualified discovery meetings and product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up consistently.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and product specialists to progress opportunities.
- Meet monthly activity, qualified meeting, and pipeline targets.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of sales, business development, or lead generation experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in cold calling and outbound prospecting.
- Self-motivated, resilient, organised, and results-driven.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- SaaS or B2B technology sales experience preferred.
- Experience in retail or inventory-related industries is advantageous but not essential.
Compensation
- Base salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually.
- Performance-based, uncapped commission.
- Target on-track earnings: $85,000–$95,000 annually.
This is a fully remote, US-based opportunity with the potential for career progression as MerchMix expands across North America.
