Canonical is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who speaks Italian to join its global sales development organization. The role is designed for an organized, persistent, charismatic, and hardworking professional with an interest in technology and its business applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with regional sales and marketing teams to identify potential customer projects that align with Canonical's products and services, generate new business opportunities, and expand the company's presence across different industries and geographic markets.
This is a highly proactive sales development role involving inbound lead management, outbound sales and marketing campaigns, prospect research, pipeline generation, market analysis, and close collaboration with sales, marketing, customers, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound customer inquiries through email, telephone, and chat.
- Execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
- Research prospective customers and identify potential business needs and opportunities.
- Participate in conferences and events around the world, including representing Canonical at exhibition booths and promoting sales and marketing opportunities in person.
- Work collaboratively across multiple teams and with senior stakeholders to achieve measurable business results.
- Work directly with the marketing team on campaigns and lead-generation initiatives.
- Generate and develop a multimillion-dollar sales pipeline.
- Identify potential prospects and emerging market trends.
- Help define and improve processes and policies for the sales development team.
- Collaborate with new and existing customers to identify potential business opportunities.
- Organize and participate in customer and prospect meetings.
- Create account maps to identify new opportunities within customer organizations.
- Create, update, maintain, and consistently engage with leads associated with global business opportunities.
- Support the regional sales organization by identifying and qualifying potential opportunities that align with Canonical's products and services.
