Job title: Sales Development Account Manager (m/f/d)
About the Role You will drive profitable growth in Central Europe by understanding customer needs and delivering Molex products/solutions. This office-based role is based in Walldorf, Germany with a hybrid working model and an estimated travel of ~15%. The role supports customers from startups to established OEMs and collaborates across Business Units to tailor growth strategies.
What You'll Do
- Drive profitable growth within defined territory or market.
- Develop, foster and expand customer network using traditional and digital sales tactics.
- Manage and maintain individual pipeline.
- Support with complex RFQs and pricing negotiations.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers.
- Develop new ideas to enhance the customer experience.
- Capture and fulfill both technical and commercial requirements with multiple Business Units.
- Work with lead generation and marketing to nurture leads through digital and social channels.
- Collaborate with customers to understand needs and growth opportunities and deliver a customized growth strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent German and English.
- Open-minded towards digital sales tactics (digital marketing, social media).
- Comfortable with modern communication technology for presentations/demos virtually; creative, non-linear thinking.
- Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in a team and engage customers.
- Technical understanding to advise customers.
Nice to Have
- University degree in sales, a technical field (electronics, mechatronics or similar) or business administration.
- Experience in the electronics industry.
- Experience with or for a distribution network.
- Electronic application and connector knowledge.
- Experience using SAP and Salesforce.
- Other language skills, especially Eastern Europe languages.
