About the Role
- As the Sales & Business Development Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients, and supporting the preparation of competitive pre-qualifications, technical proposals, and commercial tenders.
- You will work closely with our Engineering and Operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met without compromising service quality while supporting the company’s strategic growth objectives.
- The role also involves implementing the Company's Sales and Tendering procedures, developing winning bid strategies, promoting GPPSL services, providing technical sales support, and maintaining regular engagement with clients to identify opportunities that increase market share and profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng./B.Sc.) in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or a related discipline).
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, project engineering, field operations, or technical support role within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong, existing relationships with key industry stakeholders in IOCs, NOCs, EPC contractors, etc., that can be leveraged to drive business growth.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and secure new business.
- Demonstrated success in preparing and winning technical and commercial bids/tenders.
- Strong understanding of engineering services and the oil and gas value chain.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel as required.
