About the Role The Sales Associate-Yard/Warehouse role at Coastal Farm & Home Supply in Monroe, WA is an onsite, part-time position focused on delivering outstanding customer service, generating sales, merchandising, pricing, POS operations, processing freight, and maintaining store housekeeping and loss prevention per company standards. What You'll Do
- Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer questions, and help locate products.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Maintain constant radio communication with all associates.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm product lines and promotions.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
- Assist in pricing, signage, and POS operations; process freight; support loss prevention initiatives.
- Help in other departments when needed.
- Perform daily cleaning (vacuuming, replacing full trash bags, sweeping).
- Other duties assigned as needed. What We're Looking For
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and shift priorities.
- Familiar with operating a computer system and email.
- Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
- Strong attention to detail.
