About this role

As the Sales Associate, you will drive customer acquisition, promote the bank’s financial products, mobilize deposits, and support loan disbursement and portfolio growth while building strong relationships with individuals and SMEs.

Identify, prospect, and onboard new customers, including individuals, traders, entrepreneurs, and SMEs, to grow the bank’s customer base.
Promote and sell the bank’s products and services, including savings accounts, current accounts, loans, and other approved financial products.
Drive deposit mobilization, account opening, customer activation, and cross-selling to achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
Source potential borrowers, explain loan products, collect required documentation, and liaise with the credit team to facilitate loan processing.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups, referrals, and effective customer service.
Monitor customer accounts and loan repayment commitments, follow up on overdue payments, and escalate potential repayment issues to the relevant team.

B.Sc. / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3 – 4 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer acquisition within a microfinance bank, commercial bank, fintech, or related financial services institution.
Good knowledge of deposit mobilization, account opening, loan products, customer acquisition, and cross-selling financial services.
Proven ability to meet sales targets, generate leads, acquire customers, and grow a customer portfolio.
Target-driven, proactive, and comfortable with field prospecting, client visits, and business development activities.
