Job title: Sales Associate
About the Role The Sales Associate provides field-level sales support to Regional Managers, dealers, and end users under the direction of the Regional Director. This is an entry-level role focused on demonstrations, training, site surveys, trade show support, and assisting with key regional functions to drive Nilfisk’s growth.
What You'll Do
- Conduct equipment demonstrations for dealers and/or end users
- Provide equipment use and care training for dealers and/or end users
- Perform site surveys for dealers and/or end users
- Support trade shows and open houses for dealers and/or end users
- Participate in Nilfisk UPlan two weeks in advance and execute call plan and activities in Salesforce.com
- Prepare, manage, and be responsible for demo equipment inventory
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Participate in weekly 1-on-1s with Regional Director to measure call plan, its execution, and other sales support activities
- Support local Regional Managers under Regional Director’s direction on other business-critical functions
- Willingness to travel overnight on occasional basis
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent education
- Entry-level sales role; all experience levels are welcome
- Self-starter with good business acumen, self-discipline, enthusiasm, perseverance, reliability, ethical standards, and strong selling skills
- Strong communication skills and time management; ability to respond quickly, prioritize, and solve problems
- Willingness to travel overnight occasionally
- Ability to conduct seminars, extensive building evaluations, and recommend equipment for respective applications
- Ability to pass a physical including lifting, standing for prolonged periods, and driving for safe periods
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; CRM systems; Salesforce (web and mobile)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $67,900.00 - $84,850.00 per year
