Job Position: Sales Assistant
Job Locations: Surulere, Yaba, Ebutte-metta and Mushin - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Process payments and issue receipts using the POS.
- Assist customers with toiletries, cosmetics, first-aid products, and other pharmacy items.
- Maintain accurate sales and end-of-day records.
- Receive prescriptions and refer them to the Pharmacist for review.
- Assist with dispensing-related activities only under the supervision/direction of the Pharmacist.
- Monitor stock levels and report low/out-of-stock items.
- Check product expiry dates and maintain proper shelf organization.
- Handle customer information with confidentiality.
Requirements
- SSCE or ND in any relevant field.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, or a pharmacy environment is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of POS operations and payment processing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a polite and professional manner.
- Basic understanding of inventory and stock handling.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and attention to detail.
- Honest, organized, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced retail/pharmacy environment.
- Must reside close to Surulere, Mushin, Yaba, or Ebute-Metta.
- Female candidates are preferred.
Salary
N80,000 Monthly.
