About the Role Join Cape Union Mart as a Sales Assistant on a festive season contract. You will provide exceptional customer service, manage stock loss controls, meet individual targets, drive sales, maintain visual merchandising standards, and contribute to a positive, engaging store environment. What You'll Do
- Exceed customer expectations by practicing customer selling techniques.
- Adhere to stock loss controls in store.
- Ensure individual targets are met consistently.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and maximize revenue.
- Maintain housekeeping and uphold visual merchandising standards to optimize sales.
- Create an inspiring work environment and have fun. What We're Looking For
- Grade 12 / Matric or Equivalent
- Clear Criminal record
- Microsoft – Computer Proficiency
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of current clothing trends/outdoor lifestyle (depending on brand applying for)
- Honesty in dealing with cash and finances
- Building & maintaining relationships

- Taking ownership Nice to Have
- 6 months of retail experience
