About the Role A Sales and Services Consultant focused on acquiring customers and educating them for sales and service, driving digital channel migration, activation, and cross-selling of complementary products. You will operate within a compliant framework, performing customer verification and regulatory checks to ensure secure servicing and onboarding. What You'll Do
- Acquire and educate customers for sales and service; drive digital migration and activation of products.
- Engage with customers to identify needs; educate on digital channels and self-service options.
- Use systems to establish the authenticity of customers and prevent dealing with unauthorized persons.
- Perform regulatory checks (FICA, POPI, NCR) during account servicing and origination.
- Handle client servicing tasks such as issuing cards and answering queries; refer matters outside operational mandate to the team leader.
- Support onboarding activation as a priority and adhere to defined procedures to manage risk and compliance.
- Contribute to cost containment and risk reduction; align with FAIS, TCF, and other guidelines.
- Aim to meet sales targets and retain customers by providing timely service and resolving issues; optimize interactions to migrate to digital channels.
- Demonstrate ethical behavior and uphold brand promises; participate in role-specific training to stay current. What We're Looking For
- Minimum Qualification: NQF 4; 1-2 years related experience; FAIS awareness.
- Preferred Qualification: NQF 5; Regulatory Exam qualification; business Diploma or Higher Certificate at NQF level 6; Microsoft Office literacy.
- Strong customer focus, ability to handle upset customers, and willingness to develop professionally; capability to work in a team and adapt to changing needs.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FICA, POPI, NCR) and commitment to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF). Nice to Have
- Regulatory Exam qualification; business Diploma or Higher Certificate at NQF level 6. Compensation & Benefits
