About the Role
Join DHL Express Singapore as a Sales Analyst to extract, manage and analyze large amounts of data from various internal, cross-functional databases and external sources to support reporting, forecasting and planning, as well as to contribute to projects related to product, services and surcharges.
What You'll Do
- Analyze sales performance by industry, product and lane to identify trends, strengths and areas for improvement; monitor external environment for opportunities or risks.
- Identify revenue leakage and propose corrective actions to improve retention and growth; benchmark performance against competitors and market trends.
- Conduct planning and forecasting with data-driven insights; develop predictive models and scenario analyses; align forecasts with business objectives; consolidate input for bottom-up projection.
- Develop and maintain detailed commercial reports at the product and lane level; provide actionable insights to optimize pricing, product positioning and customer targeting; ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Align with business objectives to drive revenue growth by identifying and quantifying opportunities related to the product and service portfolios; collaborate with operations, sales, marketing, customer service, finance and IT; monitor product performance and collect customer feedback.
- Participate in cross-functional Ad-Hoc projects; support senior management with insights; assist in system improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in analytics, consulting, business planning, product/project management.
- Strong command and proven track record on managing Business Intelligence platforms and data mining/segmentation; proficient in advanced Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail; projection and forecasting skills; strong communication and project management skills.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Oracle and Python; experience with machine learning is a plus.
- Minimum degree in Business Management / Economics / Statistics / Mathematics.
Nice to Have
- Additional certifications in Data Analytics; knowledge of machine learning will be a plus.
