About this role
Essity, a global hygiene and health company (TENA, Tork, and other trusted brands), is hiring a Safety Specialist for its large manufacturing site in Neenah, Wisconsin, which produces brands including TORK. This is a full-time, on-site role reporting to the site Health and Safety Manager.
As a Safety Specialist, you will be the go-to person for colleagues on Health & Safety topics, plan and deliver H&S training on site, and contribute to monthly reports measuring safety metrics against KPIs while promoting active H&S leadership across the site. You'll support managers with knowledge of and compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and gain a thorough understanding of the site's operations and manufacturing processes.
Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety, a similar degree, and/or equivalent work experience

Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis

Experience and knowledge of behavioral-based safety systems

Working knowledge of project and change management

Experience in emergency response planning

Fundamental knowledge of IQP; NFPA certification

Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization, IT literacy including MS Office and web-based H&S applications
