Safety Officer - Petrochemical / Oil & Gas Shutdown
CSG Resourcing is urgently seeking an experienced Safety Officer with strong Petrochemical / Oil & Gas experience to join a major shutdown project at Sasol Secunda.
- Minimum 3–5 years' Safety Officer experience in the Petrochemical / Oil & Gas industry – essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements, Sasol standards, site procedures, and applicable legislation.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety requirements throughout the shutdown.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with Sasol safety standards and petrochemical site procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and safety awareness sessions.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and inspection records.
- Participate in safety meetings, audits, inspections, and site walkdowns.
