Job Summary

• Our client, a leading manufacturer of LDPE, LLDPE, and HDPE bags and rolls, including Pure Water Rolls, Yogurt Rolls, Shrink Wrapping Rolls and Bags, Mattress Liners, Jumbo Liners, Pallet Liners, Shopping Bags, and other printed and plain polythene products, is seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Officer with ISO certification to join its team in Sango-Ota, Ogun State.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and other relevant safety standards.
• Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct HSE inductions, safety trainings, and toolbox talks.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain HSE records and reports.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in a relevant discipline.
• ISO 45001 Certification (Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer) is required.
• 4–5 years' experience as a Safety/HSE Officer in a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work independently.
