Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian health and safety regulations and company safety standards.
- Carry out risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee safety awareness training.
- Reduction in workplace accidents and incidents.
- Compliance with HSE regulations and internal policies.
- Timely completion of safety inspections and audits.
- Percentage of employees trained on safety procedures.
- Timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Availability and proper use of PPE across departments.
- Successful completion of emergency drills and statutory compliance activities.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
