About the Role The Safety Manager will oversee safety programs and initiatives at Uline's Milton, Ontario location, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and driving a culture of safety across operations.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for warehouse and distribution environments.
- Lead safety training, audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Monitor regulatory changes, conduct risk assessments, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with operations, facilities, and HR to promote safe work practices.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in safety management, ideally in a warehouse/logistics setting.
- Strong communication, leadership, and data-driven problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of applicable Canadian safety regulations and incident investigation.
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CSP, ASP, or CHSO (or equivalent).
- Experience with large-scale distribution environments.
- Bilingual in English and French a plus.
