About the Role Kiewit Nuclear Solutions seeks a Safety Coordinator to promote and uphold a safety-first culture on our active project sites. This role focuses on implementing and auditing environmental health and safety programs to protect workers and the public, aligning with our 'Nobody Gets Hurt' guiding principle. What You'll Do
- Lead implementation and active participation in project-level safety programs
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data on illnesses and accidents; recommend preventative measures
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify risks and ensure regulatory compliance
- Monitor site personnel for unsafe actions; provide coaching and corrective feedback
- Create and maintain EH&S training materials tailored to project needs
- Administer safety training databases and report training activity
