About the Role You will perform activities under the governance of the PSAM related to safety assurance for projects and programs (products and systems). These activities cover project, system, software and hardware domains within Signalling Safety. What You'll Do
- Deliver and perform safety analyses under PSAM guidance, applying the processes per Signalling Safety Instruction.
- Contribute to the elaboration of Safety Reports and the Safety Case under PSAM guidance.
- Apply safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / product.
- Attend periodic Safety Reviews.
- Support actions to close findings from assessors (internal or external). What We're Looking For
- Advanced university or engineering degree; English operational in reading and writing technical documentation.
- Desirable: knowledge in System, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical engineering; hardware and/or software knowledge.
- Mandatory: can be a beginner in safety but depending on domain-specific experience is required on System, data preparation, hardware or software domain.
- Desirable: Some knowledge of Cenelec Standards for Safety (or AREMA, IEEE).
- For complex projects/programs, 2 years successful experience in safety assurance.
