Safety and Security Officer
Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 3 - 5 years Location Borno Job Field Security / Intelligence The Safety and Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring the security environment, conducting risk assessments, maintaining security information, supporting incident reporting, coordinating movement planning and promoting compliance with established safety and security procedures. The role will also support emergency preparedness, access control, security briefings, staff awareness and the implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measures across the head office and relevant field locations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Country Director, Programme Managers, Human Resources, Logistics, field teams and other relevant personnel to ensure that security information is communicated promptly, movements are appropriately coordinated and staff understand their responsibilities for personal and organizational safety. The role requires sound judgment, strong observation, analytical and communication skills, confidentiality, attention to detail and the ability to respond calmly and appropriately to changing security conditions in a complex humanitarian environment. The Safety and Security Officer will contribute to organizational resilience by strengthening security awareness
