About the Role
Join JAS as a Sachbearbeiter Import/Export for air- or sea freight. You will support airfreight import/export shipments, including quotation creation and handling, and monitor delivery dates and transport flows. For sea freight, you will focus on planning and processing customs clearances and sea freight shipments, and monitor delivery dates and transport flows. You will also communicate with customers, service partners, and JAS branches, and handle documentation.
What You'll Do
- Airfreight: responsibility for quotation creation and handling of airfreight import/export shipments, monitoring delivery dates and transport flows
- Sea freight: planning and processing of customs clearances and sea freight shipments, monitoring delivery dates and transport flows
- Communication: correspondence with customers, service partners, and JAS branches
- Administration: document checking, consolidation and forwarding
What We're Looking For
- Education: Completed training in freight forwarding and logistics or equivalent qualification
- Freight forwarding: Interest in logistic processes and commercial actions
- Personality: Strong communication, teamwork, and sociable
- Organization: Independent, well-organized, and cost-conscious
- Languages: German (very good) and English (good)
