The Position
S&P Broker – China, TPT Shipbrokers
Role overview Support TPT Shipbrokers’ Sale & Purchase business in China, developing relationships with Chinese shipowners, leasing houses, shipyards and other market participants.
Key responsibilities will include:

Develop and maintain relationships with Chinese shipowners, leasing houses, shipyards and other S&P counterparties.

Source and identify vessel sale and purchase opportunities in the Chinese market.

Market vessels to prospective buyers and identify acquisition opportunities for clients.

Support negotiations and transaction execution.

Monitor vessel values, recent transactions and S&P market developments.

Work closely with TPT colleagues internationally to connect Chinese opportunities with the global S&P market.

Requirements

Job Knowledge and Experience
-
· Junior broker level, ideally with 3–5 years’ experience in shipping, shipbroking or a related commercial role. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with fluent Mandarin and strong English.
