Job title: S-95 Security Guard
About the Role The S-95 Security Guard is responsible for the continuous monitoring of the venue’s fire alarm control panel and ensuring the safety of all guests, staff, and performers. This role also serves as the primary liaison between the venue and the FDNY during fire-related incidents, ensuring that Fire Department SOPs are strictly followed.
What You'll Do
- Fire Alarm Monitoring: Maintain a stationary post at the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). Correctly interpret signals (Alarm, Supervisory, and Trouble) and follow the established notification chain.
- Incident Management: In the event of an alarm, immediately initiate the venue’s emergency response plan in accordance with the Incident Command System (ICS).
- Inspections & Compliance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and compliance with SOPs.
- Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison between the venue and the FDNY during fire-related incidents, ensuring adherence to Fire Department SOPs.
