About the Role
Valce Talent Solutions is seeking a software engineer for a remote engagement with Hexaware Client Engineering. The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of experience in Ruby on Rails and React Native, and will build and maintain backend and frontend integrations via RESTful APIs for a client project. This is a remote contract engagement lasting about 4 months. What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails backend services and React Native frontend components
- Work with RESTful APIs and integrate with backend systems
- Implement responsive UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Optimize performance (virtualization, batching, throttling/debouncing)
- Contribute to SSR/SSG and platform integration efforts
- Manage packages and dependencies
- Implement observability and monitoring
- Use Git for version control
- Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
- Collaborate with team and stakeholders; communicate clearly
- Work independently as well as in a team What We're Looking For
- 4-6 years of experience with Ruby on Rails and React Native
- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Performance optimization experience (virtualization, batching, throttling/debouncing)
- SSR/SSG and Platform Integration
- Package and Dependency Management
- Observability and Monitoring
- Git
- Writing unit and integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills; strong communication and collaboration
- Must have React Native and Ruby on Rails
- Advanced English
