About the Role Paramount's Budapest Finance Hub is seeking an experienced RTR Expert in Fixed Assets & Leases Accounting to ensure accurate, timely accounting of global fixed asset and lease transactions. You will be an operational focal point for the team, support master data and project setup, and help maintain strong internal controls across Paramount's international operations. What You'll Do
- Manage fixed asset and lease accounting activities
- Support asset master data and project setup processes
- Handle purchase orders related to lease agreements
- Manage monthly amortisation activities in SAP
- Process asset disposals, impairments, and reclassifications
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support statutory audits related to fixed assets and leases
- Act as key user for Lease Accelerator in Budapest
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
- Support operational activities in the absence of the line manager
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements What We're Looking For
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles including US GAAP and/or IFRS
- Experience with fixed assets, leases, reconciliations, and journal entries
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience improving financial processes or participating in transformation initiatives
- Confident communication skills and stakeholder management experience
- Advanced English language skills (written and spoken)
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
- Previous exposure to leadership responsibilities or mentoring colleagues is an advantage Nice to Have
